City Institute Makes Sydney CBD Move
Registered overseas student training organization, City Institute, has secured office space in a heritage listed building in the Sydney CBD through Ray White Commercial.
City Institute has leased an approximately 236 sqm office tenancy at Level 2, 531 George Street, Sydney, the former Taito House building, in an off market deal negotiated by Ray White Commercial South Sydney’s John Skufris on behalf of a private owner.
City Institute has previously occupied a tenancy on nearby Market St. The Group also has other sites in the Sydney CBD and on the northern beaches.
531 George Street is a four level brick property constructed in Victorian free gothic style situated in the Southern CBD. The building is now also occupied by the Albion Place Hotel.
John Skufris said: “531 George Street is situated about 100 metres from Town Hall station next to Meriton Tower offering an existing fit out conducive to the tenant’s proposed use”.
City Institute has taken out a five-year lease at an initial gross rental of $120,360 per annum.
