Alberts, a leading Australian music rights management company and the spiritual home of legendary rock bands AC/DC, The Easybeats and The Angels, will be moving to Surry Hills.
Alberts required new premises after its Neutral Bay office was sold. The company, which for than a century has helped shape Australia’s musical, cultural, entertainment and media landscape, has secured approximately 600 sqm of commercial space at Level 4, 68-78 Wentworth Avenue, Surry Hills.
The leasing deal was negotiated by Ray White Commercial South Sydney’s John Skufris on behalf of a private client while Alberts were consulted by Ian Dalgarno of Daltor Property.
John Skufris said: “The office space provides a plug and play solution for more than 30 staff, with main offices and meeting rooms, an oversized kitchen/breakout area and timber flooring throughout.
“The tenancy is a short walk to Hyde Park, Museum Station and Central Station and surrounded by local eateries including Longrain, Spice I am and Nomad.”
The lease expires 31 December 2016 with a three year option at an initial gross rental of approximately $430 per sqm per annum.
